Initial In-Home Consult— During this key visit we will use a feeding to address and resolve any breastfeeding concerns. Baby’s weight will be taken pre & post feed to measure milk transfer. We will practice proper latching techniques and breastfeeding positions that will work for you and baby at different stages. 

We will discuss your goals: 

• Talk about your current feeding practices, sleep, and general routines

• Work together on breastfeeding and/or pumping and bottle feeding

• Develop a plan that works for your family

Other specific needs:

• Engorgement

• Weight gain issues

• Milk supply concerns

• Oral Assessment, offer evidence-based information, support and share clinical concerns with the primary health-care providers.

• Exclusive pumping

• Screening/referral for postpartum depression & anxiety

• Bottle feeding and bottle refusal

• Medical issues impacting lactation and feeding, such as breast surgeries, hormonal imbalances, and anatomical challenges

• Assistance with breast pumps, nipple shields, supplemental nursing systems and other lactation devices

• Weaning, sudden or gradual

I provide a custom care plan so you can implement everything discussed, and continued support.

Virtual Follow-up Consult—

This virtual consult is tailored to any follow up questions, needs or concerns you may have.

• Breast care including mastitis, plugged ducts, blebs, thrush, engorgement, and nipple soreness

• Soothing a fussy baby

• Reflux/oversupply issues

• Increasing supply tips & resources

• Assistance with breast pumps, nipple shields and other lactation devices

• Introducing solid foods

Virtual Prenatal Consult—

We will go over what to expect with preparation before baby comes and  details on the basics of breastfeeding a newborn. We’ll focus on the first couple weeks of life but will also discuss how breastfeeding evolves over year one. We’ll dive into first days of life, how to know baby is getting enough, newborn feeding and sleeping behavior, skin to skin holding, feeding cues, and use of breast pumps. I’ll answer any questions you may have about what's to come. I will be there to help navigate and prepare for any issues that may arise as well.

**Duration: 60 minutes (virtual)

Virtual Back-to-work Consult—

Preparing for back to work! We will make a pumping and feeding plan to help make this transition as seamless as possible. We will discuss how to maximize and protect your milk production with different pumping and stocking techniques. We will go over milk storage guidelines, use of the pump to maintain production, the easiest way to transport your pumped breastmilk, bottle feeding strategies and increasing supply tips if needed. 

**Duration: 60 minutes (virtual)

**Duration: 90 minutes (In-home)
